NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Antelope Valley Union High School District is scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2020, by teleconference on AVUHSD’s YouTube Channel (see link below). Open session will begin at 3:00 p.m. The meeting agenda and supplementary materials are available for review on https://go.boarddocs.com/ca/avuhsd/Board.nsf/Public 

Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-25-20 on March 12, 2020, and Executive Order N-29-20 on March 17, 2020. Portions of these orders relax parts of the Brown Act. In part, the orders allow elected officials to “attend” a meeting via teleconference WITHOUT having to admit members of the public into the location from which they are participating (N-25-20) and orders that “such a body need not make available any physical location from which members of the public may observe the meeting and offer public comment” (N-29-20).

This meeting is being conducted by teleconference (virtually), anyone wishing to observe the meeting may do so via https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6hLaGo2xh3dclTRisANvsQ  as listed on the agenda.

3:00 p.m. – Open Regular Meeting

The meeting is recorded and available as a public record, upon request.  

If you wish to provide public comments, please submit your comments electronically by clicking on the link: https://forms.gle/gNHws7GCWi8GWqFt6 the link will be available on the day of the board meeting at 12:00 p.m. and must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. to be read aloud during the meeting. Submissions must comply with the 3-minute time limit. A total time for public input on each agenda item shall be limited to twenty (20) minutes. Comments received shall become part of the official record.
