On Friday, Jan. 31, former Quartz Hill High School standout Olivia Jones’ current college team, the Converse Valkyries, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Tyger River Park. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Valkyries’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Tyger River Park against Glenville State Pioneers.
