On Friday, Jan. 31, former Quartz Hill High School standouts Isaac Quintero and Ismael Quintero’s current college team, the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Vanguard Lions.

The game took place at Dean Harvey Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at Dean Harvey Field against Vanguard Lions.
