On Friday, February 23, former Los Altos High School standout Jolene Melendez’s current college team, the Antelope Valley Pioneers, lost 10-9 in their NAIA game against the Vanguard Lions.
The game took place in Palmdale, California. This was their fourth matchup against the Vanguard Lions this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 12 p.m. in Palmdale, California against Benedictine Mesa Redhawks.
