On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Quartz Hill High School standout Esteban Sepulveda’s current college team, the Pepperdine Waves, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Long Beach State Beach.

The game took place at Triton Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Beach this season.

The Waves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium against San Diego State Aztecs.
