On Sunday, March 30, former Quartz Hill High School standout Maya McPherson’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, lost 16-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Samford Bulldogs.

The game took place at Catamount Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium against Tennessee Lady Volunteers.
