On Friday, March 7, former Quartz Hill High School standout Maya McPherson’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.
The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12:25 p.m. at Terry Field against Norfolk State Spartans.
