On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Quartz Hill High School standout Olivia Jones’ current college team, the Converse Valkyries, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UVA Wise Cavaliers.
The game took place at Winged Deer Park. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Valkyries’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12:05 p.m. at Whitley Softball Field against Flagler Saints.
