Representative Mike Garcia (CA-27) held a town hall at the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, attended by over 500 constituents. Rep. Garcia provided an overview of his work in Washington, D.C., and CA-27, engaging in nearly four hours of conversation about community and national issues.

“My top priority always has been – and always will be – fighting for the constituents of CA-27,” said Rep. Garcia. “It’s crucial for you to understand my perspective as I represent you in Congress. Our discussions on every issue, vote, and concern were essential. Thank you for making this town hall a success, and I look forward to bringing your ideas back to Washington.”

Rep. Garcia emphasized preventing California’s policies from spreading nationwide, focusing on economic, neighborhood, border, national, school, social, and election security.

During the event, Rep. Garcia presented Sergeant Collin Reddy and Deputy Jeremiah Nurse with the inaugural Community Champion Award. The award honors exceptional members of CA-27 who have significantly contributed to their communities.

“Sgt. Reddy and Deputy Nurse represent the very best of CA-27. God bless these real-life heroes and all of our law enforcement who keep us safe every day.”
